Private Pilot Licence

The Private Pilot Licence (PPL) for aeroplanes in New Zealand is an aviation qualification that authorises the holder to act as the pilot-in-command of an aircraft for private or recreational purposes, but not for "hire or reward" (commercial payment). It is the initial step for all pilots, whether you intend to fly for fun or pursue a professional career in aviation.
