Online Pilot Theory Courses
Stoneybrook training courses cover the pilot theory component of PPL, CPL, IFR and ATPL, as well as Helicopter PPL and Helicopter CPL for New Zealand and Fiji. Each section of the pilot theory syllabus can be reviewed in any order, so there is no requirement to complete parts of the course or finish exams before you can move on. All Sections have practice questions that provide instant feedback and we have sample test papers for each subject that you can practice.

Aviation Industry Courses
Stoneybrook offer Aviation Industry Courses applicable to Flight Crew, Cabin Crew, Maintenance Staff and Ground Staff in New Zealand, Australia & the South Pacific. Our association with Ardmore Flying School ensures these courses are provided by a NZCAA Part 141 Accredited Training Provider, with a certificate upon passing the exam. Your course progress and individual qualifications are stored in a database for reference and auditing.

Stoneybrook Training was founded in 2002 by Ian Matheson. Ian has been in the aviation industry for over thirty years as an instructor, air ambulance pilot, corporate pilot and commercial pilot. He has over 14,000 hours flying experience on both corporate jets and commercial airliners. Ian joined forces with a group of pilot trainers and instructors, including Aviation Data Services Ltd Director, Alastair Bax, retired Boeing 737 Check and training captain with over 40 years experience and 23,000 hours flying. Together they've developed these web based Pilot Theory Courses, used by major Flying Schools throughout New Zealand. Making quality pilot training affordable and accessible has always been at the heart of what we do. We are proud to offer a complete syllabus with an extensive and constantly evolving question database, at a competitive price, to help you excel in your career.

Pilot Theory Online: PPL, CPL, ATPL and more...
Study in your own place, at your own pace, in your own time. Our Pilot Theory courses are used by flying schools in New Zealand and the South Pacific, and are designed to provide the pilot theory knowledge for fixed wing aircraft and helicopters, to assist students with passing the NZCAA Pilot Exams. Our courses are self contained - no additional purchase of hard copy books required. Once you register for a Pilot Theory course, and have been accepted as a student, you have six months access from the date you start your course to complete it. We may extend access for genuine reasons, so please feel free to contact us if required. We offer a competitive fee structure, a complete syllabus and possibly the most extensive question database available, including mock exams to prepare for the CAA ASPEQ exams.
