Stoneybrook Training was founded in 2002 by Ian Matheson. Ian has joined up with a group of pilot trainers and instructors and in partnership with Aviation Data Services Ltd built these web based Pilot Theory Courses. We offer a competitive fee structure, a complete syllabus and an extensive question database included in the course fee.

FOR AIRLINE STAFF
In collaboration with Ardmore Flying School, our approved New Zealand Civil Aviation Authority Part 141 Aviation Training Organisation (TR 12757-2) partner, we provide Aviation Industry Courses for Flight Crew, Cabin Crew, Maintenance Staff and Ground Staff in New Zealand, and the South Pacific.
NZ Online Pilot Theory & Aviation Industry Course Information
We are providers of web-based training for the Airline Industry. Our New Zealand Pilot Theory courses are designed to provide the pilot theory knowledge to assist you with passing the NZCAA Pilot Exams. Aviation Services Ltd (a division of Aspeq Ltd) is contracted by the NZ CAA to conduct the examinations at various locations around New Zealand. If you pay by credit card or account transfer we send an automatic email with login instructions so you can start study immediately.
Our aviation training courses cover the theory component of PPL, CPL, IFR. ATPL as well as Helicopter PPL and CPL. Each section of the pilot theory syllabus can be reviewed in any order, so there is no requirement to complete parts of the course or finish exams before you can move on. All Sections have practice questions that provide instant feedback and we have sample test papers for each subject that you can practice. Our aviation related Add-On Courses and Ratings courses provide information and training on subjects relevant to both new and experienced pilots. We cover a range of subjects pertaining to weather events and natural hazards, along with Instrument Flight Rules, BGT for aeroplanes and helicopters, and performance based navigation.

We also offer Aviation Industry Courses applicable to Flight Crew, Cabin Crew, Maintenance Staff and Ground Staff. Our association with Ardmore Flying School ensures these courses are provided by a NZCAA Part 141 Accredited Training Provider. We will issue a certificate after a succesful exam result. Our system will keep track of your course progress and database individual qualifications for reference and auditing.
